Based in Los Angeles, Hundley is a published film, music, art, travel and food writer. She has worked for publications such as; Vogue, Rolling Stone, Dwell, LA Times, NY Times, Spin, Mixte, Travel and Leisure, Maxim, Mojo, BlackBook, Salon.com and many others. Currently, Hundley serves as West Coast editor for the UK magazine Dazed and Confused.

In spring of 2001,  her first book, a travel guide to Los Angeles, spent three months on the L.A. Times Bestseller list and is currently in its fourth printing. Hundley released her second book in 2006, a biography of country rock icon, Gram Parsons, entitled Grievous Angel. She is currently editing an upcoming book on actor/director/artist Dennis Hopper for Taschen Publications.

In addition to her work as a writer, Hundley is a partner in the commercial production company Draw Pictures. She has directed numerous films and videos, as well as penning several screenplays. Her documentary short ,¡Viva Morrisey!, screened at the Edinburgh, UK and SXSW 2006 film festivals. Recently, she has just completed co-directing and co-producing “Such Hawks, Such Hounds” a feature-length music documentary on the American hard rock underground.
