Katie Herzog’s work bridges materialist aesthetics and conceptual librarianship. She received a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design, an MFA from UC San Diego, and studied Library and Information Science at San Jose State University. She currently works at the Whittier Public Library and the Sci-Arc Library, and is a recent Fellow of the Molesworth Institute. Her forthcoming solo exhibition, Ecstasy of Municipality, opens at Whittier City Hall in January, 2010. She is represented by Circus Gallery in West Hollywood.
