Tamara Sussman combines visual art with a fiction writing practice. Her work takes the form of installation, photography, collage, letter-pressed works on paper, lenticular postcards and anything else that gets her ideas across. The aforementioned ideas are often concerned with the way that people understand and misunderstand each other, and how they try to relate (to others, and to the world around them) despite inevitable failures. Her works has been shown in Los Angeles and New York. Her first solo exhibition opens on October 17 at Rosamund Felsen Gallery in Santa Monica.
