Elonda Billera’s sculptural configurations bring together appropriated household items that cast both light and shadow on the relationship of time and distance to intimacy. She received her MFA in Drawing and Installation from Claremont Graduate University in 2007 and her BFA in Ceramics from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 1999. She has shown work in Houston, St. Petersburg (FL), Philadelphia, Richmond, Newcastle-upon-Tyne as well as the Los Angeles area. Recently, Elonda has been a co-organizer of Summercamp’s Project in El Sereno.
