WORKSPACE NEEDS YOU!

We are in the midst of planning our much anticipated fundraiser Tragic Dinner Theatre and we need your help!

workspace has really grown in the last year, and we’re trying to consistently bring you interesting dynamic programming on a minimal budget. Now we need a little support to keep up with the momentum that has developed.

Here’s how you can be involved:

1. Help us get the word out about the event!

2. Come to the mask making/supply donation workshop this Sunday, April 4th (see below for a list of supplies we need)

3. RSVP and come to the play on May 23rd

4. Make a donation to support workspace

The low-down: scheduled for the end of May, its an epic re-staging of the Greek poem Tereus, directed by Anna Wilson, with light Greek fare, and only $20 a person! Tentatively scheduled for May 23rd at the American Legion, an awesome old theater in Highland Park.

In preparation for the play we’re planning a mask making workshop/supply donation event this Sunday, April 4th. 2pm at workspace. Donate your old art supplies, fabric, greek accessories; help make masks and decorations for the play, get in the mood with sexy greek film screenings; also reserve tickets for the play!

Here is a list of things we are looking to have donated, made, or on loan:
